        Any items exceeding 55x35x20 cm are not permitted in the museum


        Due to Louvre Museum availability, your entrance time may be 1 hour before or after the one you requested


        The Louvre Museum opens at 9:00 AM. The last entry is at 4:00 PM on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and until 8 PM on Fridays. The museum is closed on Tuesdays as well as on January 1, May 1, and December 25


        There may be a wait at security. During high season, this wait can be up to 20 minutes


        Persons under 18 years and EU residents under 26 may enter free with a valid ID


        Wheelchairs, folding chairs, and walking sticks are available for use on the museum premises.
