The Musée de l'Armée, housed in the historic complex of Les Invalides in Paris, stands as a testament to France's military history from antiquity to the present day. Originally founded in 1905, the museum boasts an extensive collection of armor, weapons, uniforms, and artwork that chronicle the evolution of warfare and the brave individuals who shaped it.
Located on the Left Bank of the Seine River, Les Invalides was initially built in the 17th century as a hospital and retirement home for war veterans under King Louis XIV. Today, its majestic dome houses the tomb of Napoleon Bonaparte, adding a poignant memorial to the museum's expansive galleries.
